5,000 or more numbers of security personnels are keeping an eye on the
Gaya Gandhi Maidan where PM Narendra Modi will be addressing his second
Parivartan rally in Bihar on Sunday afternoon. The PM's first such rally was
held at Muzaffarpur on July 25 to sound the poll bugle as state assembly
election is due in October-November. The entry of motorized vehicles in the
town will be banned since morning till the rally is over. Even auto-rickshaws
will not be allowed on the roads.
As Published in Times Of India, Magadh Range DIG Ratn Sanjay said one IPS officer each will be exclusively deputed at the rally venue, road route and Gaya airport. Security personnel in uniform as well as in civvies have been deployed all along the 6km route from the airport to the venue, including the residential and commercial premises.

As reported by Media, Gaya DM Sanjay Agrawal said the district administration
would try to ensure minimum inconvenience to the general public. Besides
ambulances, private vehicles carrying patients and airport-bound travellers
would be allowed on the routes otherwise banned for vehicular traffic, he said.
The town is full of posters with slogans like 'Abki Baar Bhajpa Sarkar' and 'Jhanse Mein Na Ayenge, Nitish ko Jitayenge'. The BJP and JD(U) leaders also traded charges on the poster issue. Whereas BJP leaders alleged that the party posters had been torn by JD(U) men, the ruling party leaders said the boot lay on the other foot as CM Nitish Kumar's face on some of the cutouts had been blackened and their party posters were superimposed with dense BJP flags near the MG College roundabout.

On their part, NDA leaders have left no stone
unturned to make the rally a big success. Braving
odds like paddy cultivation
and unpredictable rain,
Giriraj Singh, Prem Kumar, Jitan Ram Manjhi and
Arun
Kumar have extensively campaigned in the
rural areas of Magadh Division to
mobilize support for the rally.
