Glenn McGrath was my childhood hero- Stuard Broad




English paceman Stuart Broad, whose father Chris Broad, former England Opening batsman was an Ashes hero during 1986/87 series,Although he was very of his dad and his achievements in Ashes but his actual hero weren't English Cricketers. As reported by News.com.au.




Stuart's father, Chris Broad played 26 Test matches for England,is known largely for his feats during the 1986/87 Ashes series where he hit three centuries in consecutive Tests. 

England fast bowler, who is just one wicket away from entering the elite 300-club revealed that he used to enjoy watching Australian players succeed,his cricketing heroes were Australian players and Glenn Mcgrath was his childhood hero. 

Broad boasts a terrific figure against Australia as his 75 of 299 wickets have come against them at an average of 29.54.


Since James Anderson will not be playing in Trent Bridge, Broad will be spearheading the bowling attack  for England in the fourth Ashes Test.
