Anna Hazare to do a big rally in Delhi on October 2

Veteran social activist Anna Hazare on Saturday said preparations have begun for his rally in Delhi on October 2 over the contentious Land Acquisition Bill and the implementation of the One Rank One Pension (OROP) for defence personnel, As reported by ANI from Ahmednagar on saturday.

"The preparations for the movement that we will start in Delhi on October 2 have started. Today I am going to Delhi, the I will go to Haryana to hold a 'sabha'. Then there will be another 'sabha' in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh," said Hazare to the reporters.

"Besides these, I will also go to Bihar and Chattisgarh and many other states to make people aware and ask them to arrive in Delhi on October 2," he further said.

Hazare had earlier already warned the Modi Government about One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme. As per earlier news reports, he had said he would do anything to ensure government implements OROP and will not accept just assurance on the government's part.
